Huawei Y7 Prime (2018) launches with 18:9 screen, triple cameras and more

The Huawei y9 (2018) could not have done a month in the market and now, we have the Y7 Prime (2018) from the same brand.

In furtherance of its willingness to bring the best quality to midrange and upper midrange markets at affordable prices, the Taiwanese OEM kept the 18:9 aspect ratio on a 5.99-inch screen which packs a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.

Under the hood of this smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset that is married to 3GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 32GB.

Should that not be enough for the user, they will be able to expand it with the use of a hybrid microSD card slot.

Moving on, the back of the smartphone sees the arrangement of a fingerprint sensor, dual camera sensors and a LED flash.

The dual cameras on the back are rated at 13MP and 2MP respectively, while the front offers a standalone 8MP shooter.

In addition to being a selfie snapper and video calling sensor, the front camera is also used for facial recognition.

To be made available in colour options of Black, Blue and Gold, the Huawei Y7 Prime (2018) will pull its juice from a 3000mAh battery.
